JournalThe catalogue

The suite’s changelog, kept as a catalogue. Numbers by the Archivist, notes by the Poet. The full record ships inside the app.

  1. No. 0.51July 2026

    Three rooms, finished

Darkroom, Press and Reel grow up and take their own marks. Crop and curves in the Darkroom, type set right on the page in Press, splits and a music bed in Reel. Every room now earns its place.

  2. No. 0.50July 2026

    The suite is whole

Five rooms under one roof. Atelier and Draft, and now Darkroom, Press and Reel beside them. One download, one key, every room included.

  3. No. 0.48July 2026

    The rooms come alive

Darkroom develops a whole shoot, film presets and all. Press lays out real pages with master sheets and true PDF. Reel cuts several clips into one movie. The house fills with light.

  4. No. 0.44July 2026

    Everything, a keystroke away

A command palette opens in either room with a single key and finds any action by name, and a Preferences window makes the suite yours: density, shortcuts, folders.

  5. No. 0.42July 2026

    Routines

Record a sequence of edits once, then replay it on a single image or a whole folder at a time. The work you do twice, you now do once.

  6. No. 0.41July 2026

    Draft grows up

Opacity masks, width and pencil tools, type on a path, patterns and arrowheads, gradients dragged on the canvas. The drafting table becomes a professional vector room.

  7. No. 0.39July 2026

    Camera RAW

Open a CR2, NEF, ARW or DNG and it develops on the spot: the sensor image becomes the negative of a live Develop session, decoded entirely on your machine by our own build of the open LibRaw engine.

  8. No. 0.38July 2026

    Deep color reaches the GPU

Documents with 16 bit layers now blend their whole stack at 16 bit precision on the graphics card, rounding to your screen exactly once. Stacked modes and group opacity stay smooth instead of collecting rounding at every step.

  9. No. 0.37July 2026

    Color goes wide

Canvases can live in Display P3 now, the wider gamut of every modern screen. Painting, adjustments, the GPU engine and your files all carry it; exports are tagged so other apps see exactly what you saw.

  10. No. 0.36July 2026

    The Develop room

Exposure, white balance, tone curve, color mixing, sharpening and a vignette, all rendered live from your untouched pixels. Move a slider back and the detail returns; nothing bakes until you say so.

  11. No. 0.35July 2026

    Deep color

Layers keep a 16 bit copy of themselves, and every adjustment computes in floating point before touching the screen once. Stack as many as you like; the gradients stay smooth.

  12. No. 0.34July 2026

    Smart Fill

Select what should vanish and Atelier repaints the space from its surroundings. A real inpainting model, run entirely on your machine; nothing you fill ever leaves it.

  13. No. 0.33July 2026

    Warp Studio

Push, bloat, pinch, twirl and smooth your pixels through a live mesh. Every stroke renders from a clean snapshot, so the paint never degrades while you shape it.

  14. No. 0.32July 2026

    Filters leave the main thread

Adjustments now crunch on every core your machine has, and the result is proven identical to the old path, byte for byte, on every build.

  15. No. 0.31July 2026

    Atelier moves to the GPU

A tiled WebGL2 engine composites the document in 256 pixel tiles, pixel-matched against the old one and several times faster. Painting only redraws what your brush touches.

  16. No. 0.30July 2026

Draft 1.0, and the doors open

The drafting table is finished. The private beta begins: one key unlocks the suite on first launch, and your files stay plain SVG and .atl either way.

  17. No. 0.29July 2026

    The Shape Builder

Drag one stroke across overlapping shapes and they merge into one. Hold alt and the stroke carves instead. One gesture, one undo step.

  18. No. 0.28July 2026

    Live effects and swatches

Shadow, glow and blur that stay editable forever, written into the file as real SVG filters.

  19. No. 0.27July 2026

    Stroke options and live corners

Caps and joins on every stroke, and rectangle radii that stay adjustable long after the rectangle is drawn.

  20. No. 0.26July 2026

    Text with depth

Alignment, leading, tracking, bold and italic. And an eyedropper that lifts a whole look from anything it touches.

  21. No. 0.25July 2026

    Images on the drafting table

Place photographs beside vectors. They ride the same file and come back where you left them.

  22. No. 0.24July 2026

    Rulers, guides and snapping

The drafting table learns to measure. Smart guides catch edges and centers as you move.

  23. No. 0.22July 2026

    The file became the format

Every group survives the round trip. A Draft document is an SVG file, not an export of one.

  24. No. 0.17July 2026

    Live symbols

Edit the master and every placed copy follows. Symbols nest, and a symbol can never contain itself.

  25. No. 0.15July 2026

    Booleans that keep their curves

Unite, subtract, intersect and exclude, with the bezier curvature preserved instead of flattened.

  26. No. 0.13July 2026

    Undo stopped counting

Atelier's history became effectively unlimited. Mistakes became free.

  27. No. 0.7July 2026

    The vector room opens

Draft joins the house: pen, nodes, booleans on the way, and SVG as its native tongue from day one.
