Reel is the cutting room of the suite. Sequence clips, titles and photos, trim and split to the frame, lay a music bed under the cut, and export one finished reel. All of it on your machine.

Sequence your clips
Line up as many clips as the cut needs and Reel plays them as one continuous piece, then renders them down to one on export.

Trim, split, retime
Set an in and an out on every clip, split at the playhead, and run a clip at quarter speed or double. Only the part you chose makes the final reel.

Sound, mixed
Per-clip volume and mute, and a music bed that plays under the whole cut. Fade any clip in or out of black, no destructive edits.

Titles and captions
Open with a title card set in your colors, and burn a caption into any clip. The words render into the export itself, not a sidecar.

Photos in the cut
Drop stills into the sequence beside your footage. Each one holds for as long as you give it, with the same fades as any clip.

Export one reel
The whole sequence renders to a single WebM at 720p or 1080p, trims, levels and titles baked in. Save the cut as a project file and reopen it any time.
Your footage stays yours,
and so does the cut.
Reel works entirely on your machine. Your clips never upload, the export is a plain file you own, and a trial ending never takes a sequence away from you.
Reel is part of the Abode private beta, free with a key. $5 a month per room at the full launch in late 2026, or $20 for the whole house.
